Our Beginnings
Prior to beginning Myers General Contractors, Andrew spent the last twenty years traveling throughout the Southeast working on Commercial projects in Mission Critical, Healthcare, Hospitality, Office, Multifamily and Industrial Market sectors for a top ENR firm. Each new city from Raleigh to Dallas brought an exciting opportunity to create new relationships and help work alongside great builders.

In 2022 Andrew and his wife Sally decided to put down roots in Charleston, South Carolina, starting Myers General Contractors. They reside here with daughter Leonora, son Jackson, and Lab Hushpuppy.

Preconstruction
A successful project always comes on the heels of a good plan and estimate. The Preconstruction life cycle is one of our many strengths at MGC. Our goal is always to provide a plan that ensures our partners and team have truly captured the right scope and flushed out any potential issues that could present themselves once the job starts. The Preconstruction period is also the best time to ensure the end user knows what they are buying. Our expertise and knowledge can help paint a picture and experience for our clients.
Operations
There is no greater experience than watching the first footing being placed or column stood. Our Operation Team’s focus starts in Preconstruction to ensure a smooth transition and overlap. Our focus and teams are never in silos between Preconstruction and Operations. This methodology ensures the momentum created in Preconstruction carries through to a safe and productive jobsite.
